John David Crow is one of the most beloved football players in Texas A&M history. Bear Bryant signed Crow out of high school and he went on to win multiple national awards, including the Heisman Trophy, while playing for the legendary coach. Crow played with the “Junction Boys” and is still remembered as one of Texas A&M’s first stars.

Eventually, the Cardinals selected John David Crow with the second overall pick in the 1958 NFL Draft.
